Gulp!
Surrounded by boxes and mountains of old documents (I kid you not), the realisation of the magnitude of what we're about to undertake is slowly dawning on all of us. However, the effort required to get ready is still consuming most of our energies (which is probably a good thing). :-)
Talk about your mixed emotions! Excitement, fear, relief and sadness to start with, not to mention anticipation, curiosity, doubt and the increasing urge to move on.
Anyways...I'm thinking that keeping a blog will mean that we can let everyone know what we're up to without succumbing to OOS, plus I hope to post pictures to stop this from becoming too introspective. Although... :-)
That's the plan anyway.
Oh, and also to show the people who think we've gone off our rockers, Africa is a real place, not the end of 'life as we know it, Jim...'.
